Hospitality Development & Investment

Woodbine’s history in hospitality began with the landmark Hyatt Regency Dallas development. Beginning in the early 90’s, Woodbine became the pre-eminent developer of destination resorts in the Southwest until a concerted effort to diversify the portfolio led to the creation of a series of investment funds and partnerships that spurred the growth of Woodbine into select service development and value-add hospitality acquisitions.

Office Development & Investment

Woodbine’s first office project was the conversion of a historic warehouse in downtown Dallas followed by a massive sky-scraper in Fort Worth. Woodbine then went on to develop several corporate headquarter buildings and office parks throughout North Texas in partnership with the Hunt Family. In recent years, Woodbine has developed and acquired over 1 million SF of luxury high-rise office projects.

Industrial Development & Investment

Many of Dallas’s most notable industrial parks were originally developed by Woodbine, including Freeport Industrial Park, Valwood Industrial Park, Fossil Creek, and several others. As a part of our effort to diversify our investment holdings, Woodbine has formed partnerships in the industrial space to develop and acquire industrial assets as a part of its family office platform.

Mixed Use and Multi-Family

Woodbine’s most recognizable master-planned mixed-use development is Kierland Commons in Scottsdale, Arizona, a project consisting of office, multi-family, hospitality, and retail. Developed in 2002, this project was a culmination of Woodbine’s land planning expertise. Since that time, Woodbine and its master planning team, has continued to be involved with notable projects throughout Texas and the US. Woodbine is actively pursuing mixed-use and multi-family development opportunities in the Southwest.
